Membership & Donations
What does my membership do?
As part of your House of Gordon membership, you will be a part of both the national and local societies. You also have a chance to contribute to our Scotland Charity – The Gordon Highlander Museum in Aberdeen, Scotland. As well as the “Charles O. Gordon Memorial Scholarship Fund” which provides scholarships to aid our youth, and the young at heart, in further studies of the Scottish arts and education.
How much is a Gordon membership?
Membership dues are $25.00 and payable July 1st annually.
Where does my money go?
- These dues represent $10.00 to the national organization, $10.00 to the local division, and $5 are designated to the Gordon Scottish Heritage Charities Fund.
- Additionally we have the Charles O. Gordon Scholarship Fund & The Gordon Highlanders Museum Fund that the House of Gordon USA and our members support.
- Each new member will receive in the mail, a Membership Certificate and card. Renewing members will receive their annual member card in the mail. All Family members are encouraged to participate in our activities.
- The National Board expects to send a minimum of two newsletters, one printed in May and one emailed in December, per year. Your local division may also have a newsletter that you will receive.
