Our Alaskan Convener Laurel Osborne will be in Palmer, Alaska to host the House of Gordon tent at the Alaska Scottish Highland Games! These games will be held at the Alaska State Fairgrounds, and they are excited to announce that Graham McTavish, of the popular television series Outlander, will be the Honored Guest!
These games will feature Scottish Heavy Athletics, Bagpipes, Drums, Highland Dancing, Gathering O’ The Clans, Birds of Prey, Kilted Mile, Highland Coo, Tug-Of-War, Celtic Marketplace, Historical Demonstrations, Live Music, Scottish Strongman, Children’s Events and more! When it comes to Scottish food and drink there will be Scotch, Mead and Bourbon Tasting, Tea Tent, Shortbread Baking Competition, Midnight Sun Spurtle Challenge, Haggis Eating Contest, Salmon Tossing, and Food trucks! Come out and support your Alaskan House of Gordon USA convener Laurel!
